Admission Process

International Candidate who wants to take admission in Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering (IIAME) has to follow these steps.
One time fees paid in Cash or Demand Draft or Online.
JEE-AME application Fee : Rs. 1000/- to be paid along-with the application form.
AME Admission Fee: Rs 30,000/- to be paid at the time of Admission.
Caution Money (Refundable): Rs 5,000/- to be paid along with Admission Fee.
Library fees: Rs 5,000/- to be paid along-with Admission Fee.
AME tuition Fee Structure: Rs. 70,000/- per semester (total 6 semester) to be paid not later than the first date of the Semester. Tuition Fees for the First Semester is to be paid along with the Admission Fees.
AME course for all Semesters will start in July 2018.
Cost of the student uniform is Rs 5,000/- annually and the cost of books and tool-kits is Rs. 15000/-for the entire course.

A.M.E License is an authority issued by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation (MCA), Government of India, to maintain & certify the fitness of the civil aircraft prior to each flight. After earning this license, an AME certifies the fitness of an aircraft. Any aircraft cannot fly without this fitness clearance from an AME.

No, AME is neither a diploma nor a degree. It is a specialized qualification mandated by Government of India as per the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) norms and standard in which an individual earns AME License issued by DGCA. This program entitles a specific to work as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer globally. Only an AME appropriately licensed are responsible for the safety and security of an aircraft. In short like diploma and degree, an AME License is also a qualificationwhich is make a perfect engineer and  which is required to perform the rank and responsibilities of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

The Aircraft maintenance and safety is assured by an appropriately licensed AME, who are trained on International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) norms and regulated by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. No aircraft can fly without its safety certification by an appropriately licensed aircraft maintenance engineering. The world over it’s a normal practice to earn AME License to work as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

In normal practices today an AME License is earned through an organized training program approved by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Usually, AME approved academies such as IIAME follow the   DGCA  program .which entitles a candidate to more and more earned required Aeronautical Experience and get adequate knowledge of an approved curriculum through intense campus learning through a systematic theoretical and practical program.

IIMAE is a private college regulated by DGCA.

IIAME was approved by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India in 1998. It is located at PMCE Campus, Kami Road, Sonipat, (Delhi-NCR), Haryana- 131001 nearest railway station Sandal Kalan Railway 2.5 Km from campus.

After compaction of 3 years of approved training program and the passing of DCCA Examinations, an individual is entitled to get an AME License in various categories depending on the various modular examinations of passed by the individual.

The total academic fee structure of AME Program is for 3 years.

Student  after completing the 3-year AME academic program in IIAME will go to any aviating organization for traning to gain skil ,knowledge  and work in the flying environment to have adequate aviation experience required for issue of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License. During last fourth year of this training, Candidate gets a stipend between 10,000 to 20,000 per month depending on Airlines policies or exam cut-off. After accruing certification rights of Aircraft individual works as a completely fledged AME on a salary package beginning 6 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs yearly. This amount goes multi fuelled after having gained experience on other aircraft available whit the organization he is working with.

No, only candidates who have passed their DGCA exam and acquired requisite aviation work experience are eligible for type rated license. DGCA exam must have to qualify for type rated license
