Registration Form – AME Admission (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Institute Admission)
In order to be eligible for admission to Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) License course, the applicants are required to satisfy at least 1 eligibility conditions as mentioned below-
(a) Student minimum requires for AME admission is X + 2 Pass with PCM, (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
(b) Diploma Holders in engineering (3 year course) recognized by AICTE
(c) Any higher qualification in science with PCM, or equivalent qualification in related branch of Engineering
How to apply
Candidates can apply online or on the prescribed application form which can be obtained from the Institute.
Candidates are required to submit the following documents along with the application form:
(a) Date of birth certificate or class X certificate with date of birth mentioned on it (two attested copies).
(b) Mark sheet of 10+2 (Non-Medical or PCM) (two attested copies).
(c) 2 passport size color photographs.
For an AME training course, the candidate should be have passed 10 +2 class in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or a 3-years License or equivalent.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in 10+2 exam can also apply.
A certificate issued by the MINISTRY OF EDUCATION of the country of origin in respect of the student passing the higher secondary school examination (10 +2 or equivalent).
The candidates shall have passed minimum 10+2 Class with the aggregate of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics, or a three years diploma in engineering institute; or a higher qualification in Science with Physics and Mathematics. The trainees shall be subjected to a medical examination before they are admitted to the training institute by a doctor having at least an MBBS Degree. This is done to checkup the medical fitness of students for the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering institute.
The SAME – School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering New Delhi / Noida, and (hereinafter singularly referred as the ‘Institute’ and collectively as ‘Institutes’) have decided to come together for the purpose of conducting a common entrance exam on the basis of a common prospectus. It is, however, clarified that the ‘Institute’ individually, in no manner, will lose its independence vis-a-vis other ‘Institutes’ and accordingly will retain its right to take independent decisions on all matters including administrative and financial matters. The ‘Institutes’ are running “Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Institute Course” (hereinafter referred as AME Course) approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation (hereinafter referred as ‘DGCA’). The said AME course is being run in accordance with the rules & regulations made by DGCA and other lawful Authorities. Within the permitted periphery of law, ‘Institutes’ have authorities to change their Curriculum, Course Structure and Rules relating to Administration, Admission, Examinations, Fee Structure, Placement, Scholarship, and all other associated matters. Such changes would be binding on all concerned.
Choice of training centre (School for AME Engineering Institute of Aviation Technology, New Delhi / Noida, and stream (Mechanical and Avionics) is subject to availability on the specified date of admission. Applicants will be called for entrance test and counselling, and seats and stream will be allotted based on interview and merit.
